Mary Mattingly: Art, Activism, and the Anthropocene

Mary Mattingly is a New York-based artist and a 2023 Guggenheim Fellow. Using photography, sculpture, and public installations, she is currently focused on creating dynamic water clocks that visualize water access and equity.
She co-builds ecological systems related to water, food, and shelter that reflect larger environmental processes.
